Allio Lite Makes TV PC Cheaper

It wasn't very long ago that we were checking out the new Allio all-in-one TV PC at CES. We were pretty impressed. Apparently the manufacturer, Silicon Mountain, felt pretty confident because they have already created a new model called Allio Lite.
It was actually a smart move for Silicon Mountain because Allio Lite is cheaper than the previous model, which of course makes the Allio more attractive in today's economic climate. Now the 42 inch Allio Lite costs $1599, significantly cheaper than the $2799 price tag for the regular model.
So what makes the Allio Lite different? The PC part of this TV PC now runs on more of a netbook design. The TV part is identical, but the computer uses a dual-core Atom 330 processor. You still have all the other essentials, like 250GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM, and a DVD drive (so I'm still gonna need a separate player to play Blu-Ray on my TV PC?).
Frankly, the Allio Lite turns the TV PC into an attractive option for the consumer market. It costs about as much as a PC and a 42 inch TV would cost together. Admittedly, the processing power will be a little lighter than a desktop PC, but most people would be using a TV PC for surfing the internet and streaming videos, so you probably don't need a huge processor anyway.
Now the only problem is what to do when Jimmy wants to watch cartoons and Jane wants to check her email at the same time.
