LG decided to take a different approach with their Scarlet series of TVs. It a beauty with a brain. Rather than just focusing on improving the technology, although the Scarlet series of TVs are packed with high-end features like 100hz refresh rate, 1080p contrast ration and more, LG made a statement in design going with a scarlet backing or scarlet trim on the monitor making this TV one unique TV.

With the 100hz refresh rate, images are clearer, crisper and more life-like. Although other models on the market have 120hz refresh rate, the Scarlet series is not far behind in technology.
The LG70 does have technology that is unique to the Scarlet—an invisible speaker system. LG says that although their speakers are invisible to the naked eye, they are not invisible to the ear. With a sound system that broadcasts the sound straight at you rather than at the floor or random walls in the room.

Add in 4 HDMI (high definition multimedia interface) ports, 1080p contrast ratio and Bluetooth capability, and the Scarlet has a lot to offer. The HDMI ports allow you to hook up all your plug ins to your TV, like your DVD player, with one cord. It gets rid of the tangled mass of wires behind your TV and cleans it up real nicely.

The 1080p contrast ratio makes gives the picture more true color, especially important for those movies and shows that like to show dark images. That means the blacks get blacker, rather than the purple that is usually associated with LCD TVs, and the images stay sharp even in low-light scenes.

LG says the fact that the LG70 is Bluetooth capable, you never have to worry about turning the volume down low while watching your favorite shows. You can just turn on the blue tooth capability and pop on the headphones, and you can listen to your show as loud as you want.
