If you were holding out for that new 32 inch Sony OLED TV, you will have to wait a little longer than expected. Sony has decided to postpone mass production of the super slim TVs until at least next year.

Apparently Sony wasn’t able to sell as many of the 11 inch OLED models as hoped, so new company CEO Howard Stringer has postponed the project in favor of trying to get more models into Wal-Mart and making cheaper LED lighting technology for its LCDs.

This is sad news. After seeing the OLEDs at CES this year, we were getting excited to see some actually make it to production. Oh well, maybe next year.
