What to Look for in LCD Projectors

Connections: You need to have plenty of connections for the many devices that will be attached to it.
Image Size: How big did you want to project the image? Make sure to know how big you intend on projecting the image, and then be sure to buy one that can accommodate that size.
Noise Level: Being distracted by the noise of the fan can be quite bothersome. Be sure to check the noise level of the projector before buying.
Brightness: Brightness is perhaps one of the most important factors to consider in buying a new LCD projector. Too bright and contrast can suffer, not bright enough and it is hard to see a picture.
Resolution: Get the highest resolution LCD projector that your budget allows. Nothing looks better than watching a movie on a 100 inch screen in 1080p!
Contrast Ratio: A good LCD projector will also have a good contrast ratio. A good contrast ratio will allow the picture to be seen better in lighter conditions as well.
Lamp Life: Every lamp in every projector will fail at some point. Be sure to get an LCD projector with a long lamp life.
Keystone Correction: If your projector is going to be somewhere other than directly in front of the screen, make sure it has keystone correction.
