The JVC HD Everio Share Station cu-vd40 is specially designed to burn archival DVDs shot from your Everio HD camcorder. The Share Station does NOT produce DVDs to be viewed on standard DVD players. One-button click on your camcorder and you will be able to automatically transfer fresh footage from your camcorder to a backup DVD. But the Share Station isn’t just limited to Everio. If it is connected to your computer, it can also be used as a separate DVD burner for videos already on your computer.

The unique features include one-button transfer and high-speed transfer, making it possible to burn a DVD in half the time. So if you have an hour long video it will burn in only 30 minutes.
